The consultancy and training services range across all aspects of management necessary for a law firm to flourish and be profitable both in the present economic climate and into the future.
The traditional structure and management methods are being challenged by the changes now impacting on the profession. St Helens Law can offer consultancy and training services throughout England and Wales.
St Helens Law was awarded the Law Society Lexcel quality mark in March 2010.
Our practice manager Paul Wood has extensive knowledge in all areas of practice management based on over 30 years experience of working as a fee earner and practice manager. His experience is underpinned by the academic learning which resulted in his MA in Practice Management, from the University of Wolverhampton under the auspice of the Law Society and his qualification as a Lexcel Consultant.
The services can be tailored to the individual needs of each law firm, irrespective of size, and take account of the already available resources within the firm to ensure that the firm obtains the best possible advantage from the consultancy as well as it being cost effective. The purpose of this type of approach is to strive to ensure that a firm moves at its own pace and can cope with change and learning more about itself as new skills are developed and change implemented, thus achieving meaningful and lasting effect.
Areas of management covered are both functional for the everyday running of the firm as well as strategic, to enable a firm to be placed in the best possible position to deliver a quality and highly respected level of service to its chosen market. Business planning, change, quality, risk, relationship marketing, IT, alternative dispute resolution, human resource and financial management consultancy can be provided together with self assessment and preparation for application for Lexcel accreditation or annual maintenance visits.
In support of the services the added expertise of Sysco Training and Consultancy (STC) based in Liverpool and Centre for Assessment (CARNW) based in Warrington can be called upon. Sysco offer a wide range of training courses and funding options tailored to a clients needs. CARNW is the Law Society’s authorised assessment body in the North West region.
