St Helens Law launches its "Sharing Success with the Community" Scheme - Saturday, March 06, 2010

St Helens Law specialises in all aspects of property law, personal injury, civil litigation, clinical and
professional negligence, wills, probate and elderly client law. We also deal in commercial litigation and property.

Having established ourselves in the local community we thought that it was timely to share our success with that community by introducing a unique profit share for groups such as Charities, Schools, Clubs and Sports clubs to help raise funds.

We have agreements already in place with other groups that will entitle them to a 10% rebate on all legal fees (excluding disbursements) up to a maximum of £1000.

These rebates are paid to the club or organisation nominated by the client ,who is a member of the club, upon instruction. These are genuine rebates, there are no increased fees to cover the cost.

The scheme has been passed by the Solicitor ’s Regulatory Authority and has been welcomed by them as a way of integrating the modern legal practice with the local community.

For more information contact Howard Nulty on 01744 457 121 or email howard.nulty@sthelenslaw.co.uk.

St Helens Law is awarded the Law Society’s quality mark - Lexcel - Wednesday, March 03, 2010

The Company has been awarded accreditation to the Law Society’s Lexcel quality mark.

Currently only around 9%* of law practices in England and Wales hold the award.

The Lexcel practice management quality mark is a tailor made quality mark for the legal profession. It draws from the appropriate elements of other more general quality marks such as Investors in People and ISO9001:2000 while specifically recognising professional compliance requirements such as the Solicitors Code of Conduct 2007 and Solicitors Account’s rules.

Lexcel v4 (the current version of the standard) is a framework around which a law practice or public legal department can build the key business and management objectives of: quality of service, risk and business management, marketing, recruitment and selection and financial management amongst others.

The Lexcel quality mark shows that a law practice has met high standards in the way it is managed and is achieving excellent client service, cost efficiency and minimum risks.

Before a practice is awarded the quality mark it is thoroughly examined against the requirements of the standard followed by annual checks to ensure that the practice is consistently maintaining high standards.

Practices with the Lexcel quality mark demonstrate a commitment to excellence investing in time and effort to make sure that their business is running effectively and that clients can obtain the best service from the practice and its employees.

Lexcel awarded practices try hard to understand client’s needs and expectations as well as consistently delivering a quality service.

Practices with Lexcel always try to look for ways of improving their client service and will ask clients for their views and make changes accordingly.

The Lexcel quality mark is managed by the Lexcel Office of the Law Society of England and Wales.

More information about the Lexcel quality mark is available at: www.lawsociety.org.uk or by speaking to an employee of St Helens Law.

Transactions are handled by qualified solicitors and all of the paperwork can be done by e-mail or fax.

The Senior partner Howard Nulty said " Some clients prefer to be able to speak with a solicitor and if that is the case then we are always happy to do so. Some clients prefer to attend to their business by e-mail or over the internet. Conveyancinglawyersdirect is designed with the busy client in mind. Clients can track their case at any time of day or night and even at weekends so that they know what is going on."

"If a client's financial adviser wants to have access to the system so that he can advise the client then as long as the client gives consent then that can be organised. The fileview system enables everyone to know where the transaction is up to."

"We have noticed a marked upward trend in the number of new transactions and we want to be at the front in terms of service to deal with this new growth."
