Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) Claims
The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, or CICA for short, are a government organisation that can pay money (an award) to people who have been physically or mentally injured because they were the blameless victim of a violent crime.
The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) are located in Glasgow and are responsible for administrating the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme throughout England, Wales and Scotland.
In accordance with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme 2012 the CICA pay out awards ranging from £1000 to £500,000. On a yearly basis, the CICA pay out over two hundred million pounds in Criminal Injury compensation awards.
If you have been a victim of violent crime or criminal activity and have been injured as a result, you may be entitled to compensation from the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).
