We have recently been conducting an audit of Wills which we hold for our clients and are inviting our clients to come in and take advantage of a FREE review of their current Will.

With the introduction of the new Residence Nil Rate Band, your requirements may have changed. If you currently have a Will, which has been made by us or even someone else, and you’re not quite sure if it is what you need any more, then we can help.

Recently we have seen an increase in clients making Lasting Power of Attorney and with the registration fee now at its lowest, there has been no better time for you to make one. A Lasting Power of Attorney enables you to select people who may act on your behalf and make decisions for you, if you are unable to do so yourself. This may be due to illness or an accident, where you are prevented from looking after your own affairs. The main illness people are usually concerned about is dementia, which may prevent people from being able to manage their own finances or look after themselves in the future.

If you would like to discuss making a Lasting Power of Attorney or review your current Will, then please email kirsty.cartwright@sthelenslaw.co.uk or telephone 01744 742360.
